On Wednesday 18th May Year 5 visited Washington Wetlands. In science we have been learning all about life cycles and our visit gave us an amazing opportunity to see different animals. We were able to see tadpoles and chicks. In the morning we were able to go pond dipping and observe the wide variety of mini beasts at close hand through a microscope. There were also many different species of birds within the centre and it was wonderful being able to feed them. At lunch time we also had the opportunity to see the otters and their four cubs, which were recently born in March.
