Fell Dyke took part in our annual ‘Sainsbury’s School Games Day’ on Friday 10th June 2016.

Children from Year 1 – Year 6 were invited to create a banner depicting one of the Olympic and Paralympic values (friendship, determination, courage, inspiration, respect and equality) they then paraded around the yard to open our ceremony. We cheered our friends on as they showed off their banners.

Then children were encouraged to take part in a giant warm up – White Class lead a whole school ‘Wake up, Shake up’!

After the children were ready to participate in some vigorous activities including: seated volleyball, kiwik cricket, hockey, blindfold football, tri-golf and boccia. Games all taken from the Summer and Paralympics.

The day ended with a ceremony to award the winning classes in their intra-school tournaments.

The winners were: Turquoise, Gold, Scarlet, Silver, Bronze and Blue.

Well done to everyone who participated!
