Today Year 5 have been investigating common multiples in maths.

The children were asked to roll two dies number 0-9. Which ever numbers they rolled they had to write out the multiples of the number.

Then they had to find which numbers appeared appeared in both sets of multiples and these are the common multiples.

After that the children had to look for their number on a grid of multiples, if it was there they could colour it in. The child with the most squares won!

Have a look at how we got on.
