Purple and Turquoise Class have been hard at work learning about World War Two for their Creative Curriculum Topic this half term.
So far we have learned all about the powers and people who took part in the war; how evacuees were effected by it and how primary sources can help us with our historical enquiries.
Today Year 6 used primary sources from ‘The Blitz’ to create their own breaking BBC radio reports for London. They made sure to use standard English, historical SNOTT and exciting vocabulary to make their writing authentic!
