Year 3

Welcome to Year 3

Welcome to Orange and Silver Class!

Mrs Workman, Miss Barnard, Mrs Twentyman and Mrs Strassheim enjoy working with the Year 3 superstars as they begin their learning adventure in Key Stage 2.

This year will be fun filled with our curriculum themes: Under Our Feet, Happily Never After, Time Travellers, Incredible Inventions, Dark Times and Life’s a Peach.

We will kick off the year by focusing on stories by Anthony Browne and drawing upon his ideas in our own writing. In maths, we will be looking at addition and subtraction and finding the best method that helps us do this mentally.

Year 3 are always hard at work developing their skills in all areas of the curriculum as they become independent, active and creative learners.

Check our blog regularly to find out more about our fantastic learning!
