Year 4Mrs Sellars and Mrs Targar
Welcome to Year 4
Welcome to the Scarlet Class blog. This term, we are learning about the VIKINGS!
In English, to tie in with our history theme, we are reading Odd and the Frost Giant – An adventure story about a Viking boy. Our class novel will be a starting point to write descriptions, persuasion and our own adventure stories.
In Maths, we are working on fractions, decimals, geometry and statistics. We are all working towards achieving our Bronze, Silver and gold badges and need to practise all of our multiplication tables everyday at home to become confident and fluent.
Thank you for your support with reading and homework – it is much appreciated and makes a huge difference to our progress in school.
Please check back soon to see what we have been up to.
