School Performance
A full set of data for all schools is published each year by the government.
School Performance Data for Fell Dyke Primary School
Key Stage 2 Performance (2023)
Writing is assessed by teachers at Fell Dyke against statements describing the national standards. This is moderated (usually once every three years) by the local authority. We were last moderated in 2023 and the moderators agreed with all of our judgements.
Other subjects (Maths, GPS [Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling] and Reading) are assessed through National Curriculum Tests (often known as SATs). A scaled score is given based on the number of correct answers and the difficulty of that year's paper.
A scaled score of 100+ is considered to be meeting age related expectations.
A score of 110+ is considered to be working at greater depth against the national standard.
A scaled score of 100 is the government's chosen cut off measure for school performance.
