Chick, Chick, Chickens!

Nursery made a trip to the big school today to see some special visitors....ten newly hatched chicks! The children used their gentle hands to stroke and hold the chicks. They noticed they felt soft and commented on the sounds they made.  They are looking forward to another visit to observe how the chicks will grow and change.
