Rose Class - Local Library Trip

Rose class children were lucky enough to go on a trip to our local library in Wrekenton ahead of National Story telling Week on 3rd February 2025. We walked from school to the the library, looking at and talking about our local environment and familiar buildings as we passed them. 

While at the library, we had 2 wonderful Hairy Macleary stories read to us and then we got to explore all of the children's books they had to offer. We now have our own Rose class library card and were lucky enough to check out a range of stories to read in school. We look forward to another visit so we can switch out the books we borrowed for some new ones.
