Year 6 Nissan Visit

Our Year 6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic visit to Nissan in Washington, learning all about the company, its ethos and the types of jobs that are available there.

Pupils enjoyed a wide range of activities after visiting the workshop on the factory floor to see the programmable robots in action, learning about panel beating, how to safely use some of the tools involved in car construction and the level of finger dexterity needed for some jobs on the construction line.

Everyone worked together on their own mini construction line, refining processes until they could build a model car in record time. Well done everyone!
